Stuart Craig

Stuart craig is a British production artists who works for movies who's know for his work in the harry potter film series.

Stuart was born 14th of April 1942, he studied at Norwich university of arts. he's been nominated for eleven Academy Awards and has won three in 1982 for his work on Gandhi, dangerous liaisons and the English patient. ha's been nominated for BAFTA awards sixteen times and has won three of them ; the elephant man, harry potter and the goblet of fire and fantastic beasts and where to find them.

the reason to why i picked this sketch of his is how the composition of this sketch with the bolder/large rocks in the fore ground, the bridge in and castle in the mid-ground and the mountains for the back ground. plus the addition detail fore the roof of the bridge and shading are techniques I've identify.

This is another sketch by Stuart for the harry potter movies. similar to the last sketch the composition of buildings here are point of interest for me. additionally the shapes of the building are also a key point.

This is one of his pieces i found that have color. the main drawing point for me was his use of color on the tree mainly and the placement of  things such as the characters in the foreground, boats in the lake for the mid ground and the castle background.
