• This drawing is of cube with a cut-ins on the front face

• for this drawing i have in total 4 cubes, 3 going back to wards the viewpoint while the purple cube extrudes to the right.

conclusion: i found it harder to try and make squares/cubes in a row showing the top side of the brick. one thing i could add to my sketch is a dent that is similar to the reference and maybe some shadding.
